After having a pretty awesome August with my eBay business, I had high hopes for what September would bring. When I finally sat down to calculate everything out, I realized that we hit a record high again this month!

In September, I was also able to participate in another eBay Dropshipping meeting hosted by eDropshipEmpire as well as attend the Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas for the first time.

September 15th – eBay Dropshipping Meet Up hosted by eDropshipEmpire.com – Courtyard by Marriott, Irvine

Another successful meetup for the eDropshipEmpire crew in the books. 🙂

For one evening, I got to share some knowledge and learn with my fellow colleagues about the current state of dropshipping and what has and hasn’t been working for all of us. Approximately 50 dropshippers showed up to the meet-up and a few even attended the special training done the following day. It was such an absolute pleasure meeting everyone! I just wish I had taken some actual photos instead of just sharing stuff on Instagram but I was so preoccupied with meeting people and learning about their stories.

September 22nd – 24th – Life is Beautiful Music Festival – Downtown, Las Vegas

After driving in early in the AM on day 1 of the event, I decided to crash and prepare for the following weekend ahead.

Our first stop after getting some rest was Momofuku at the Cosmo for a delicious lunch. It was my first time coming here after hearing rave reviews about it on social media.

Our group was big enough to go “family style” with our order so we ordered multiple items to share between ourselves. Best decision ever!

After finishing up lunch, we went back to our hotel to prepare for the evening ahead.

Upon entering the festival, you are greeted by tons of street art everywhere you walk!

They even had an “Art Motel” where you could walk inside and explore different themed rooms by the art collective, Meow Wolf, based out of Sante Fe, New Mexico.

Life is Beautiful was definitely an experience for the books. The production and sound at each stage was on point and the layout was extremely easy to navigate. Ins and outs were spectacular by festival standards and everyone was in a good mood. I’m definitely looking forward to attending again next year.

Now enough about the updates, let’s move on to the income report!

Income from eBay

Last month, we hit a record high in profits. This month, we managed to beat our previous sales numbers by $4,594.07.

Comparing September 2015’s numbers to September 2017, we have also seen a 285.2% increase. What a difference a few years can make!

For a long period of time in this business, I felt depressed deep down and was unable to progress or grow. Because of this, I actually “gave up” trying to grow the business and just kind of let it automate itself. It wasn’t until I changed my mindset, took the reigns back, and started putting in the proper time to run this business that I got to see results again.

This isn’t a get rich quick scheme. It’s an actual legitimate business that requires hours of care and dedication to grow and function properly, and I needed to remind myself of that.

Feedback from eBay

Feedback has increased a total of 72 points since last month. I attribute this entirely to the 3x increased number of transactions these past few months. More satisfied customers means more potential chances for feedback!

Total September Sales: $16,993.33

Total eBay Profit: $2,843.50 (+$895 in pending discounts, $3,738.50)

As a dropshipper, one of the places I recommend as a back-up source in case you’re out of stock is Amazon. Here are the goals that we set last month:

GOAL #1 – 9,000 LISTINGS – We hit 9,587 LISTINGS!

GOAL #2 – $3,500 PROFIT – We hit $3,611.39 PROFIT!

As you can probably tell from this month’s report, I have 2 possible outcomes for total profits this month due to having $895 in unclaimed credit that I am still working on acquiring however this did not stop me from hitting my goal I set for the month.

The next goal is to hit 10,000 listings and $4,000 profit in October.

Next month will be a bit more challenging if we continue using this exact same strategy so it’s time to make some minor adjustments going forward and adapt.

Let’s see how things pan out…
